Is There a Cost? And Can PEP Offer Financial Assistance?
Nevada PEP services are provided free of charge to Nevada families because we receive funding from a variety of government, foundation, and private sources. Unfortunately we cannot offer financial assistance but we have resource that might be able to assist you.
What If I’m Not Sure If Nevada PEP Can Help Me?
Call us anyway! Chances are there is something to fit your needs. Nevada PEP helps a wide variety of families and professionals on local, state, and national levels every day.
What Is A State-wide Family Network (SFN)?
The National Center for Mental Health Services provides funding for most states to operate a Statewide Family Network. Family driven non-profits in each state receive a grant to assist families in accessing appropriate care for their children and to mentor families to become leaders in System of Care reform. Nevada PEP developed and operates Nevada’s Statewide Family Network.
Is Nevada PEP A 501(C)(3) Organization?
Yes! Nevada PEP is a nonprofit organization serving children and youth with disabilities throughout the state of Nevada and its impact is felt around the nation. Gifts to Nevada PEP are tax-deductible as allowed by law.
What Can I Expect When I Call?
You will be asked some basic information to direct your call to the appropriate person. The majority of Nevada PEP staff are parents of children with disabilities themselves who understand what you are experiencing and are ready to help you help your child.

What Is A Parent Training And Information Center (PTI)?
PTIs are non-profit organizations funded throughout the nation by the U.S. Department of Education under the Individuals with Disabilities Act (IDEA). PTIs support families of children with disabilities by providing services and resources. The national network is made up of 104 Parent Centers throughout the United States helping over 7 million children.
Does Nevada PEP Provide Respite Service?
No, however there are several respite programs throughout the state and Nevada PEP has information and applications that we can send to parents.
